Im Rahmen des Förderprogrammes KulturInvest des Bundes erhält das Freiburger Münster 4.067.500 Euro aus Berlin. Das hat der Haushaltsausschuss des Bundestages soeben beschlossen, wie der CDU-Haushaltspolitiker und südbadische Abgeordnete, Yannick Bury, bekannt gibt. Bury hatte sich im Ausschuss für die Förderung eingesetzt.
“Ich freue mich, dass sich der Einsatz im Haushaltsausschuss gelohnt hat und der Bund das Freiburger Münster als Kulturdenkmal von nationaler Bedeutung anerkannt hat und darum nun auch finanzielle Mittel für die notwendige Sanierung des Turmoktogons bereitstellt”, erklärt Bury am Rande der heutigen Sitzung des Haushaltsausschusses. Diese Förderung sei nicht selbstverständlich, denn die Förderprogramme des Bundes seien seit Jahren deutlich überzeichnet. Er freue sich daher, dass sich der Einsatz für das Freiburger Münster im Haushaltsausschuss gelohnt habe.
