Mit Kritik hat der CDU-Bundestagsabgeordnete Yannick Bury auf den Beschluss der Ampelkoalition nach deren 30-stündigem Koalitionsausschuss reagiert. Der Beschluss des Koalitionsausschuss umfasse zwar eine Planungsbeschleunigung bei einzelnen Autobahnabschnitten mit dem Ziel, Engpässe zu beseitigen. Die A5 zwischen Offenburg und Freiburg sei dabei jedoch weiterhin nicht berücksichtigt, so Bury. “Die Ampel hat den Engpass in Südbaden offenbar vergessen”, konstatiert Bury.
Die vierspurige A5 zwischen Offenburg und Freiburg sei zweifellos ebenfalls ein Engpass, der dringend behoben werden müsse, so Bury. Aktuell gehe die Autobahngesellschaft des Bundes davon aus, dass aufgrund der langen Planungsverfahren in diesem Jahrzehnt nicht mehr mit einem sechsspurigen Ausbau der A5 gerechnet werden könne. “Eine Planungsbeschleunigung ist darum auch für den Ausbau der A5 zwischen Freiburg und Offenburg dringend notwendig”, so Bury, der sich im Bundestag für einen raschen sechsspurigen Ausbau stark macht.
